iExec Starts a 24-Hour Airdrop on June 5 — Connect your machine to become a worker, and earn over 7,000 RLC

June 5, 2019 - Lyon, France. On June 5 2019, 10:00am UTC, blockchain cloud computing company iExec will run a special community event for iExec Workers. Anyone can become a worker and have her computer runs tasks for clients and generate money.


For 24 hours, the number of tasks on the iExec network will be increased, with over 7,000 RLC worth of orders placed on the iExec Marketplace. Using the virtual machine (VM) option, all you need to is connect and get ready to compute!


Stress-testing iExec's V3 Mainnet Smart Contracts

iExec recently released its V3, allowing for the monetization of datasets and opening doors for anyone to create and manage a worker pool. Since then, many machines have connected to the iExec Public Worker Pool and hundreds of RLC have already been earned by workers each signle day.

The upcoming airdrop is the 4th one so far, that will serve to stress test the network on Mainnet and push it to its limits.

How To Connect Your Machine?

To participate, you must download and start the VM provided by iExec. Nothing special is required: you need a standard machine (Linux, MacOS, Windows), about 0.1 ETH and also 5 RLC to stake as a worker.
