Focusing on emotional and behavioural health as well as addiction or dependency challenges and trauma recovery. Holina Village provides a holistic treatment approach that addresses the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological needs of each resident.
Our facility is designed to help young individuals struggling with substance abuse, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health challenges. The program integrates traditional therapies, adventure challenges, and farm life in a therapeutic community environment to create a transformative experience that fosters self-discovery, personal growth, and healing.
Holina Village’s Therapeutic Community Model
At Holina Village, the therapeutic community model plays a central role in the recovery process. Farm life & Adventure-Based Challenges - A Safe and Nurturing Environment
We offer the unique therapeutic environment of operating on a functioning farm, containing live stock (poultry, goats, horses, etc) and an fruit-bearing orchard (oranges, lemons, limes, figs, dates, pistachios and olives), giving our residents the responsibility of caring for animals and maintaining the environment, which for most of them is a new experience when compared to the environment they have come from. This helps build camaraderie, collaboration and contribution, as well as providing opportunities to connect with nature, face physical challenges, and gain deeper self-awareness. These experiences promote personal responsibility and community connection, which are key elements in their life skills and recovery process.
