Free platform launched to help hospitality businesses move to online ordering through lockdown

Thursday 16 April, 2020

Jump24 has launched the free to use Awe-der (https://awe-der.net) platform to help restaurants, pubs and cafes quickly move to an online ordering model.

In development over the past three weeks, Awe-der enables a business to instantly setup an online order page, create menus and start accepting online orders from their customers for collection or delivery.

"At a time when many supermarkets are under increased pressure, many of our favourite restaurants, pubs and bars have closed, when many are able to switch to online collection or delivery business models. Not only can this help those businesses to survive but these services can offer a vital service during this period" said Dan Newns of Jump24.

Awe-der is a not for profit project that has seen many people in the Birmingham software development community give up their weekends and evenings to build.
