Dreyfus is pleased to announce that it was selected to dispose of a real estate portfolio for a Chinese tech billionaire. The portfolio is owed in excess of $1.5 billion USD and includes properties in Europe and Australia. Dreyfus will act as a consultant in the disposition of the portfolio and will oversee the management of the funds after the sale. The properties, for the most part, are not levered and have a small mortgage on some of them.

Proceeds are estimated to be $1.4 billion USD. Mr Tan Lee of Hong Kong represented Dreyfus.

Mr Tan Lee says; It has been a pleasure representing Dreyfus Corporation as we meticulously dispose and carefully handle our client's portfolio, I am proud to be part of such a significant transaction. "The sale of this portfolio concludes our third profitable exit in as many as two years. Previously in year, we helped dispose of a string of properties in the UK, Spain, France and Italy. To date, we have advised on the sale of approx. $25 billion producing a weighted average net IRR of approximately 28% including quarterly income distributions over the respective hold periods. Combined with acquisitions in Asia and Europe, Dreyfus has had a hectic year with further acquisitions and exits in progress."
