The Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra invites the local community to celebrate the changing seasons with an entertaining afternoon of live music at its Autumn Concert, raising funds for the Heart of England Co-operative’s Helping Hearts programme.
Taking place at 3pm on Saturday 26th September at Methodist Central Hall, Warwick Lane, Coventry, CV1 2HA, the concert promises a varied programme of well-known music with something for audiences of all ages.
From the unforgettable music of The Lion King and the sweeping soundtrack of Titanic to the much-loved BBC theme Sailing By and the songs of legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon, the orchestra will take audiences on a musical journey through stage, screen, radio and popular music.
All proceeds from the concert will go to Helping Hearts, the Heart of England Co-operative’s programme supporting good causes and community projects across the local area.
The concert continues the orchestra’s long tradition of combining live music with fundraising for charities and community organisations. Earlier this year, its World Poetry Day concert with special guest Iain Lauchlan raised nearly £1,500 for Earlsdon Carnegie Community Library, while previous concerts have supported organisations including Coventry City Mission, Global Care, Macmillan Cancer Support and local community initiatives.
Tickets are priced at £11 for adults, £8 concessions and just £1 for under 16s. Tickets are available in advance via TicketSource, with a QR code for booking on the concert poster.
