Staff at Coastline Housing
in Redruth, Cornwall, have been collecting dozens of advent calendars to donate to a local
food bank.
Colleagues are once again
supporting the CPR Food Bank in the run up to the festive season to help make
sure local children don’t miss out on the excitement of counting down to the
big day.
Liz Bracelin, who organised
the collection at Coastline, said: “This has become an annual event at
Coastline, where we ask people to buy an extra calendar or two during their
weekly shop and bring them in to be donated to the foodbank. I am always really
amazed by the response. Thank you to all who have supported this collection to
bring a little extra festive cheer to local children at this time of year.”
