Celebrating 100 years with 100 Good Gog Things

Monday 25 November, 2019

The Gog Farm shop nestled in the Gog Magog Hills (just outside Cambridge) is celebrating 100 years and to mark this achievement they are carrying out ‘100 Good Gog Things’. Having been at the heart of the community for the last 100 years they really wanted to say thank you and give back to the local community and continue to make a difference. The ‘100 Good Gog Things’ is a way of The Gog saying thank you to their customers, the local community and their environment. Some of the good things are:

1 free shop for one lucky customer, each month

Donating activity sheets to the children’s wards at the hospital and local schools.

Recycling all their coffee waste to be turned into heating logs

Switching from plastic to glass milk bottles for all their retail milk

Planting 12 new fruit trees to create a new orchard at the farm

Selling meatballs raising money to deliver life change experiences for young people with life-limiting muscle dystrophy

Supporting Kids out Giving tree this Christmas

Donating a Christmas Tree to St Andrew Church in Stapleford

The 100 Good Things started this November and will run until September 2020.
