Afro Rave London, the debut UK pop-up of Africa’s biggest youth-driven cultural festival, brought vibrant Afrobeats, dance, and creativity to the heart of London on Sunday 3rd August.
Founded by Omamofe Daniel Omatseye (CEO of Rave Experience), the festival has grown from its humble beginnings in Warri, Nigeria, into a cultural powerhouse, curating experiences across multiple African cities with thousands of attendees. The London edition, hosted in partnership with Bellafricana UK, marked the brand’s international expansion — connecting diaspora communities, creatives, and global brands through music, art, and shared culture.
The event featured live DJs, fashion pop-ups, and a unique fusion of African energy with London’s diverse creative scene. Afro Rave London follows in the footsteps of Rave Experience events that have partnered with leading sponsors such as MTN, Guinness, Heineken, Budweiser, and Nestlé, reinforcing the platform’s growing global reputation.
Omamofe Daniel Omatseye commented: “We’re not just throwing parties; we’re building ecosystems where creativity meets commerce and community. Afro Rave London proves that the African cultural story has a powerful place in the UK.”
With over 20,000 followers across social platforms and press coverage from Nigerian and diaspora media, Rave Experience is positioned as one of the leading cultural exports from Africa. Afro Rave London is only the beginning of its global footprint, with plans for further international collaborations and diaspora-led events.
