An incredible $35.6 million was raised for charities around the world at the 126th Boston Marathon, returning for the first time in three years to its traditional Patriots’ Day slot. Included in that total is more than $15 million raised online by over 2,063 fundraisers via global online crowdfunding pioneer GivenGain—the preferred charity fundraising platform of the 126th Boston Marathon.

An integrated fundraising powerhouse

Combined, fundraising through GivenGain and the charity programs of the organizers and lead sponsors (the Boston Athletic Association Official Charity Program, and the John Hancock Non-Profit Program) exceeded last year’s total by more than 30%.

The 126th Boston Marathon had an in-person field of 25,314 athletes from all 50 states and an even bigger international field than last year, from 120 countries.

A day of giving

As part of the lead up to the 126th marathon, the fundraising experts at GivenGain helped the B.A.A. and John Hancock organize the Boston Marathon Giving Day on March 16, 2022. The appeal had incredible success, with almost 1,800 fundraisers raising over $1.1 million in 24 hours, receiving donations from supporters in 37 different countries. This was the second-biggest single day of fundraising in Boston Marathon history, and came less than six months after the 125th Boston Marathon held in October 2021.

One World. Zero Barriers.

With the return to the Boston Marathon’s traditional Patriots’ Day slot of the third Monday in April, the average donation received via the GivenGain fundraising platform was $131. This incredible generosity came from around the world, with over 122,000 donations coming in from 83 countries, showing the global impact of this iconic event.

“The non-profit community across Greater Boston is resilient, and, as a non-profit itself, the B.A.A. takes great pride in being a catalyst for more than 200 charitable organizations to raise critical funds in support of their missions,” said Nicole Juri, the B.A.A.’s Director of Development. “The return to our full field size and traditional Patriots' Day date enabled our non-profit partners to raise even greater funds for a variety of meaningful causes.”

“Supporting athletes and charities in Boston to raise money around the world with ease is at the very heart of what we do at GivenGain, and shows the real power of online fundraising,” says Bryan Lively, GivenGain.

“GivenGain was founded in 2001 with the vision of empowering fundraisers around the world with cutting-edge technology. The Boston Marathon and its international reach makes it the perfect showcase for our global online fundraising platform.”

“GivenGain also empowers charities, giving them visibility over all the money raised on their behalf, both online and offline. Our technology helps charities attract greater fundraiser numbers and totals by enabling them to commit to raising a minimum amount of money in exchange for a charity entry to the race.”

“We’re excited to announce that our partnership with the B.A.A. will continue, as we work together towards the 127th marathon in April 2023.”

GivenGain – the global online fundraising platform – is linking up with the world’s leading trail running circuit, UTMB® World Series, to give runners around the globe the chance to support the humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine while they run.

14 international UTMB® World Series events will now offer charity entries to participants who pledge to raise funds for charity, including at the Series flagship race UTMB® Mont-Blanc in Chamonix, France. Charity bibs are also available for sold-out races, giving runners a unique second chance to get into some of the world’s most competitive trail running events,

As part of their race, runners can amplify their impact by tapping into their personal networks through peer-to-peer fundraising.

“At UTMB® World Series, we believe that sport is a force for good,” said Marie Sammons, Sport and Regeneration Director at the UTMB Group, in a statement released on their website. “The UTMB brand connects people all over the world through shared values of solidarity, inclusion, and fairness. Considering the ongoing situation in Ukraine caused by the unprovoked Russian invasion, the UTMB® World Series and the events under the UTMB brand are committed to supporting our friends in Ukraine during this period.”

The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights conservatively estimate that more than 3,300 civilians have been killed in the Russian invasion. More than 12 million Ukrainians have been forced to flee their homes.

Enabling global giving

GivenGain's relationship with UTMB Group began when it was picked to offer online fundraising to entrants of the TransLantau Hybrid 2021, a Hong Kong-based virtual event that encouraged runners to take on the TransLantau course solo at a time when in-person events were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fundraising participants used GivenGain’s borderless online platform to connect with donors in 17 different countries and raised more than HK$80,000 for charity, a stunning success at a time when non-profit services were severely hampered by restrictions on their and supporters’ activities.

TransLantau race organisers found that by enabling online fundraising, they could build new links with local non-profits and attract new participants. “GivenGain was a great opportunity for us to connect with charities and local fundraisers,” said TransLantau race co-director Sabrina De Nadai. In 2022, the UTMB® World Series has welcomed TransLantau by UTMB® to the global circuit, and so partnering with GivenGain was a natural choice for the Ukraine appeal.

As an international platform dedicated to enabling global philanthropy, GivenGain allows fundraisers and donors anywhere in the world to donate securely to charities in any country, in any currency.

Charities working on the ground in Ukraine are in desperate need of hard currency donations for vital food, water and medical supplies, and GivenGain gives donors around the world a way to support them – with the assurance that only genuine, properly registered charities can fundraise through the platform. Key charities in the relief effort including the ICRC and UNHCR have been using GivenGain’s robust international payment system to raise much-needed funds since the start of the crisis.

Running for Ukraine

Runners can secure a charity bib by signing up to fundraise for the UNHCR or ICRC through a participating UTMB® World Series event and pledging to raise a minimum amount set by the event. Charity bib runners in most UTMB® World Series races must commit to raising €100 for charity, while those running the Eiger Ultra Trail by UTMB®, Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB®, or the European World Series major Val D’Aran by UTMB® must raise €1,000. Getting a charity bib for the sport’s pinnacle event, UTMB® Mont-Blanc, requires a €2,000 commitment. Once their project is set up, they receive a registration link from UTMB Group to sign up for their chosen event and pay their entry fee.

Peer-to-peer fundraising gives runners a powerful way to use their races for good and support causes they care about. By starting an online fundraising page and sharing it with their networks, they can make a much bigger impact than an individual donor. The average fundraiser on GivenGain raises €1,250 for their chosen charity, but runners taking part in high-profile events often collect much more.

Starting a fundraising project on GivenGain takes just a few clicks, and fundraisers can immediately begin sharing their projects with friends and family via e-mail, social media or an automatically generated QR code that supporters can scan to receive a donation link.

“We’re very excited to work with a great event series like UTMB® World Series, and to empower fundraisers to support such an important cause,” says Clara Miret Carbonell, Regional Manager: Europe and Latin America at GivenGain. “Not only do fundraisers get an incredible one-off opportunity to get into some of the world’s top trail running events, but they have a chance to make a real difference for people in Ukraine.”

To start your fundraising project and claim your charity bib, visit the Charity Bibs section on the UTMB® World Series webpage.

<![CDATA[ Dock2Dock unlocks the power of participant fundraising with GivenGain ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/dock2dock-unlocks-the-power-of-participant-fundraising-with-givengain-f6787aaa5346898792288957b30df2f2/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/dock2dock-unlocks-the-power-of-participant-fundraising-with-givengain-f6787aaa5346898792288957b30df2f2/ Friday 29 April, 2022

Dock2Dock, the unique open water swimming event in the heart of London, is back on 3 September 2022 with an exciting new fundraising challenge! After the success of last year’s fundraising event, Dock2Dock promises to be another action-packed day of open water swimming. Tickets to this iconic event are selling faster than ever before with the 3k and epic 15k sold out of general tickets already.

For the first time, organisers are also offering a limited number of charity tickets to participants who plan to fundraise for the Sea Cadets as part of the race. In exchange for committing to raise money for the charity, swimmers taking on any of the distances on offer can access a 40% discount on their entry fee – so long as they act quickly.

A good local cause

The Sea Cadets Royal Docks Boat Station is one of the standout landmarks along the swim routes, and cadets have helped out in previous years by providing safety cover for swimmers. Now Dock2Dock is looking to return the favour by turning the event into a massive fundraising opportunity in their benefit.

Funds raised by charity ticket holders will go directly to the Royal Docks Sea Cadets, helping them support and teach life skills to local 10- to 18-year-olds through the traditions of the Royal Navy.

Supporting teenagers who are financially disadvantaged, the organisation relies on donors and fundraisers. Cadets are also encouraged to volunteer and fundraise as part of the group’s commitment to social action.

"The businesses and companies around the London Royal Docks form a wonderful community,” said Dock2Dock event organisers. “Hosting an event in the area is a privilege and we couldn’t do this without the support of this community. The Sea Cadets are one such neighbour who work tirelessly to help young people not only locally, but throughout the UK.“

Fundraising together – or alone

To maximise fundraising at the event, Dock2Dock organisers have teamed up with non-profit fundraising platform GivenGain, preferred fundraising platform of some of the world’s highest-profile mass participation events, including the Boston Marathon.

GivenGain allows participants to start individual fundraising projects in aid of Sea Cadets, giving them an easy way to track their progress as well as their position on the overall event fundraising leaderboard. This always inspires a bit of friendly competition before the big day, as swimmers feel part of something bigger than themselves.

Charity ticket holders can start making a difference straight away by registering a free account on GivenGain, starting a fundraising project and then sharing it with friends, family and supporters around the world.

“We’re really excited to be working with the Sea Cadets and Dock2Dock to help make the event more meaningful through participant fundraising,” says Clara Miret Carbonell, Regional Manager: Europe at GivenGain. “After a difficult couple of years for mass participation fundraising events, it’s great to once again see people turning out in numbers to make a difference and support the Sea Cadets. Don’t miss this chance to take on an incredible sporting challenge and give back!”

The power of many (participants)

Online crowdfunding leverages individual networks to contribute far more than a single person can, and to ensure the success of each charity, event, fundraiser and donor, GivenGain is always on hand to provide excellent moral support, tips, resources and white glove service. Beyond just providing Dock2Dock with a fundraising platform, GivenGain offers a fully outsourced support service, backed by expertise going back more than 20 years. The platform’s team of fundraising experts are on hand to build events’ social impact campaigns, create their online pages, design a communications plan to engage their participants and provide them with fundraising resources and content to keep them engaged.

“Online fundraising is the most powerful way for event participants to support the charities they care about,” says Clara Miret Carbonell. “It’s great to see major events like Dock2Dock enabling participant fundraising. We can’t wait to see what a difference it makes!”

Swim for a cause

Charity tickets for Dock2Dock in the 1.5K, 3K, 5K, 10K and 15K distances are now available from their website, but hurry up if you want to swim for the Sea Cadets: charity ticket numbers are strictly limited! Participants with regular priced tickets can also fundraise for the Sea Cadets or a charity of their choice by starting a project on GivenGain. Get involved in this unique open water challenge and start making a difference today!

Charities around the world need our help now more than ever – but with events postponed or cancelled and quarantines in place in many countries, how can you support them while staying safe?

Online fundraising brings ordinary people from around the world together to raise money for the causes they care about, regardless of travel restrictions or social distancing.

It also enables charities to keep going even without face-to-face donations, says Marius Maré, president of online fundraising platform GivenGain.

How do you raise money without leaving the house?

When Elisha Nochomovitz learned that France’s quarantine measures would be keeping him indoors, he didn’t get mad – he got active. The keen runner managed to complete a marathon without leaving his apartment, running a total distance of 42.2km back and forth along his balcony.

Elisha isn’t the only person to turn a quarantine into an opportunity. Pop music power couple Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes streamed an acoustic set on Instagram in partnership with the World Health Organization. Football teams from across Europe are taking part in the Ultimate QuaranTeam virtual tournament to raise money for the WHO’s fight against coronavirus. And all kinds of people have been sharing how they are spending their time indoors on social media using hashtags like #stayathomechallenge.

But while livestreaming has been key to a lot of online fundraising recently, you don’t need to be comfortable in front of a camera to help a charity. Online fundraisers have done things as diverse as offering to paint pictures or knit scarves in exchange for donations.

“Part of the power of online giving is that it’s very easy to turn almost anything into a fundraising opportunity,” explains GivenGain’s Marius Maré. “Whether you’re livestreaming an event or reaching out to friends and family on social media, simply include your donation link.”

Getting started with online fundraising

Aspiring fundraisers can sign up with online fundraising platforms like GivenGain in a couple of clicks and launch fundraising campaigns for charities of their choice within minutes. After that, it’s just about sharing your fundraising link with your network – over and over again, if necessary.

“So often I hear ‘Oh, I still need to donate, when does it close again?’,” says fundraiser and GivenGain user Troy Horrell, who recently ran a successful campaign for South African breast cancer charity ILoveBoobies. “More often than not, people really do want to get behind an initiative, but they forget. Following up on potential donors really benefited me.”

Who should I raise money for?

With thousands of charities accepting online donations through crowdfunding platforms like GivenGain, fundraisers are spoiled for choice.

But if you have been inspired by the growing need for donations under quarantine, why not choose a charity battling against coronavirus? Charities are already helping those most at risk worldwide – including the Imbumba Foundation’s Soap4Hope drive, which distributes hand sanitiser to underprivileged communities in South Africa; Keep Wildlife ACTive, which aims to keep conservation efforts going during the lockdown; and the UN Human Rights Commission’s campaign to protect refugees from coronavirus.

While so many aspects of normal life are disrupted at the moment, online fundraising means that kindness can continue.

Global online fundraising platform GivenGain has added Teams to its stable of charitable fundraising tools. GivenGain Teams enables collectives like companies, sporting events, educational institutions, clubs and even families and friends around the world to fundraise together for any charity (or charities).

Already, two major events have joined the platform: Cape Epic, one the world’s biggest amateur cycling races that attracts elite professional mountain bikers from all over the world, and the Two Oceans Marathon, known as “the world's most beautiful marathon”.

Increase your impact

“GivenGain Teams is pitched at event organisers and corporate social investment [CSI] managers around the globe and works by leveraging the personal networks of staff or event participants fundraising together for any charity registered on GivenGain,” says Marius Maré, GivenGain marketing manager.

A Team-based approach allows fundraising to quickly increase an event or company’s social impact. “The average GivenGain fundraiser raises $500, so if a Team gets 1,000 supporters, it can raise $500,000,” says Maré.

“Teams really raises the bar in group fundraising, offering a slick and easy-to-use way to automate and consolidate your fundraising. It also allows you to see your social impact in one dashboard view, and to easily share it with the world or investors. In addition, it offers event organisers brand control over the fundraising already happening in conjunction with their event, as well as the ability to attract more entrants in future with the option to fundraise.”

How does it work?

A Team fundraising organiser must register on GivenGain to create a Team fundraising page.

Team members are then invited to start individual fundraising projects linked to the account and to share it with their family and friends to ask for donations. Specific charities can be linked as beneficiaries, either by the organiser or Team members.

A non-profit for non-profits

GivenGain Teams is only the latest addition in a growing stable of fundraising solutions on the GivenGain platform, including individual fundraising for charity and direct fundraising by charities.

Since 2001, GivenGain has helped charities in 60 countries receive millions from donors and fundraisers all over the world.

Whereas other fundraising platforms commonly allow anyone to benefit from the generosity of donors, GivenGain strictly benefits charities only.

In addition, it does not make a profit from the processing of donations. The GivenGain Foundation is a non-profit organisation registered in Switzerland, uniquely making it “a non-profit for non-profits” whose sole purpose is to enable social change through fundraising.

It takes only 90 seconds to set up a Teams fundraising page and share it. Sign up your corporate or event today!

In 2017, global giving movement #GivingTuesday had one of its most successful campaigns to date, with over $274,000,000 raised online for charitable causes by individuals, communities and organisations worldwide.

Online charitable fundraising platform GivenGain contributed to this year’s success as a #GivingTuesday partner. GivenGain offered charities globally a bespoke #GivingTuesday support package worth $2,000, and enabled individuals, organisations and event organisers to raise funds globally for participating charities.

The partnership proved a boon for charities on the platform. GivenGain saw a spike in donations, with a 40% increase on #GivingTuesday (28 November), a 60% increase in donations for November compared to the same month in 2016, and a 104% increase in site visits for the month.

#GivingTuesday is not just one day

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving, held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the US). It began as an antidote to the mass consumerism of Black Friday and aims to inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.

But like Black Friday, it only got bigger over time – not just in dollar amounts of donations, or numbers of people, countries and initiatives getting involved, but also in the spread of its message of giving beyond just one day in the year.

Just as Black Friday (traditionally on the last Friday of November) came to take up several weeks in November, so too #GivingTuesday now extends over a significantly longer timeframe.

The reason? Charities have learnt to fully benefit from seeing #GivingTuesday as a movement, not just one day. By building up their fundraising campaigns during the months leading up to #GivingTuesday and rallying supporters and fundraisers, they’ve been able to increase donations for the entire month of November, not just on the day.

Marius Maré, Business Manager at GivenGain, says #GivingTuesday’s influence could reach even further. “It’s important for charities to see the year-round potential of #GivingTuesday and to internalise some of its networked marketing lessons. Charities should not only use it to drive donations and support on the day, but also to form and build a stronger relationship with potential fundraisers and donors, thereby benefiting throughout the year and in their year-end fundraising campaigns.”

Make it #Giving2018

As the popularity, impact and length of the movement grows, it has become an inextricable part of the end-of-year giving season as well as planning for the new year.

GivenGain can help charities make the most of their own fundraising efforts and that of their supporters with year-round fundraising support and tailor-made fundraising tools for charities, event organisers, CSI managers and individuals.

Meet the man who wants to climb the highest peak in Antarctica – in a rhino suit

Having scaled six out of the famed Seven Summits is an epic feat all by itself, but John Black has upped the ante again: if you help him reach his fundraising goal of ZAR 250,000, he will climb Mount Vinson, the highest mountain in Antarctica, in a rhino suit this December!

This novel idea to support wildlife conservation started as a casual campfire conversation at a Boy Scout training camp in 1998, and later became the ‘Three Peaks Expedition’ – aka climbing the three highest peaks in Africa in a month, John says.

In the following 20 years, he climbed as many peaks as he could, including six of the Seven Summits – which brings us to his current attempt to complete the Seven Summits challenge. (His last summit was Denali, Alaska, back in 2011.)

For rhinos, as a rhino

Outside mountaineering – but very much in the rhino mould – John previously raised ZAR 250,000 in 2011, and again almost ZAR 100,000 with his wife in 2013. The latter was done running the London Marathon in a rhino suit.

This time, John is commemorating World Rhino Day on September 22 with a very public promise to climb Mount Vinson in the cold heart of Antarctica in December 2017, wearing a rhino suit.

Through very supportive sponsors, committed saving and personal sacrifice, John has been able to cover the costs of his travels and raise money for his causes. What drives people like him to forego personal comfort for the causes he loves?

“I feel it is our duty to preserve the fauna and flora diversity we have,” he says. “I love spending time amongst animals and in the ‘bush’, and I want to safeguard that for our own enjoyment and that of future generations.”

Rhinos in need

His help and that of others is sorely needed. In February 2017, the South African Department for Environmental Affairs released statistics showing that 1,054 rhinos were killed in South Africa alone during 2016. In just a decade, more than 7,137 African rhinos have been lost to poaching.

Like many, John is alarmed at the rate at which endangered species are being threatened, and combines an enthusiasm for conservation with a passion for mountaineering to make a difference.

But anyone can make a difference for a charity they love, he says. John’s suggestion is to have a cause that really matters to you. “Additionally, if it ties in with who you are, what you do and how you live your life, it just makes sense.”

Global online fundraising platform GivenGain has partnered with global giving movement #GivingTuesday to help charities around the world raise funds for this most important day on the international non-profit calendar.

Falling on 28 November this year, #GivingTuesday is a global movement committed to helping people support their favourite charity on “the world's biggest day of giving”, in a way that is meaningful to them.

For those outside the charity world, this could mean donating money, sponsoring a gift or simply giving of their time or speaking out about need in their local community. For charities, it is a rare opportunity to take centre stage in a commercial world and avail themselves of free expert help, tips and resources.

What is #GivingTuesday?

#GivingTuesday began as charity’s answer to the consumerism of Black Friday (24 November 2017) and Cyber Monday (27 November 2017).

In 2016, $177 million was raised in the US, with giving activities taking place in 98 other countries. People and organisations further gave 1.64 million online gifts at an average value of $107.

Numerous celebrities have thrown their weight behind the movement (JK Rowling, Stephen Fry and David Tennant, to name a few), contributing to a social media frenzy with more than 100,000 #GivingTuesday mentions on Twitter.

How is GivenGain helping charities?

As a #GivingTuesday partner, GivenGain offers charities the use of its fundraising platform, support and resources.

“Charities running #GivingTuesday campaigns can use GivenGain to quickly and easily start fundraising anywhere in the world and collect donations in multiple currencies,” says Marius Maré, Marketing Manager at GivenGain.

In a major boon, such charities also qualify for GivenGain’s bespoke support package, worth $2,000, free of charge. The package includes an audit of current online fundraising practice, 12 months’ access to the GivenGain Premium subscription, exclusive content (fundraising webinars, supporter e-mail templates, social media appeals, videos, etc.) and resources and materials to help charities optimise their global fundraising efforts.

“By using the #GivingTuesday hashtag on social media and adopting the #GivingTuesday logo, charities can significantly boost their fundraising and visibility,” Maré says.

#GivingTuesday participants further have access to exclusive tips and tools that will help them get supporters anywhere in the world, make friends in the media and engage influencers. Lastly, they will have dedicated e-mail support.

Maré adds that it’s important for charities to see the year-round potential of #GivingTuesday and to use some of the free lessons contained within the GivenGain pack on the power of networked marketing:

“We want to make sure this day gets used not just to drive donations and support on the day, but also for charities to form a bond with potential fundraisers and donors, so they get to do more good work throughout the year and in their year-end fundraising campaigns.”

While entries have closed for the 2017 Put Foot Rally (19 June to 6 July 2017), you can still support the Put Foot Foundation’s associated fundraising campaign or those of any its entrants.

Anyone, any route, any car

The Put Foot Foundation was founded in 2012 by rugby legend Bob Skinstad and mates Daryn Hillhouse and Mike Sharman. It’s one of Southern Africa’s bright charity crowdfunding stars, with R3.2 million raised since 2012.

The rally itself is an annual 8,000km trek across South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. Anyone can join in, driving any car – and apparently, they can take any route.

“With this rally, we want to prove that you don’t need a 4x4 to do African travel,” said Daryn on a call from Ohio, where the Foundation is currently expanding.

“We also want people to know travel in Africa is perfectly safe, easy and affordable, and of course we wanted Africa’s many committed fans all over the world to have this chance to give back.”

Anyone can give

How does fundraising around the rally work, and how can the public get involved? To qualify, entrants must raise a minimum of ZAR 750/USD 50 and keep raising funds while “putting foot” onto fuel pedals through the southern African hinterland in the milder months of the year.

Drivers can run their online fundraising projects from their mobile phones, soliciting donations from their personal networks to support the Foundation’s work.

Where the money goes

Put Foot’s primary objective is to provide needy children en-route with South African-made shoes (16,800 pairs since 2012).

This year Put Foot will introduce The Shoe That Grows, which comes with clips and buttons, so they can be extended as the wearer grows. “We’re aiming to raise at least $10,000 for the 2,000 pairs we want to donate in June,” Daryn says.

The other aim is rhino conservation, another cause that is close to Africans’ hearts. Thus far, the Foundation has handed over more than ZAR 500,000 to charities involved in rhino conservation.

Have fun doing good

Obviously, the objective is also to have as much fun as possible, says Daryn. But it can be a life-changing experience, he says – for the children as much as the drivers who physically put shoes onto their feet.

“We call it the greatest social rally on the face of the earth – five countries, five checkpoints and five parties over 18 days! But there’s a more philosophical part to it too. You can really feel the difference you’re making. That’s why we ask people to fundraise to be able to enter; you don’t want to arrive at this checkpoint somewhere out in the wild and see happy faces all over the place without feeling like you’re a part of it. It’s one of the greatest things you can do.”

Support hope, pride and dignity in Africa’s children! Donate to a GivenGain fundraising project for the Put Foot Rally or directly to the Put Foot Foundation.

At the ripe old age of one, Maks Chapa is an accomplished fundraiser for Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS) – a cause that has earned passionate grassroots and media support for the dislocated families it serves.

Maks’s parents, Olga and Gerardo, who are running his fundraising project on global fundraising platform GivenGain, say they felt they had to do something to relieve the plight of migrants coming into mainland Europe.

“We’ve been supporting MOAS for a while, but figured we could raise more awareness if we asked our friends to donate instead of buying a gift for Maks’s birthday this year. He’s already such a fortunate little monkey!”

Anyone can

“Literally anyone can and should be able to fundraise for their favourite charity, wherever they are and wherever the charity operates,” says Marius Maré of GivenGain.

Maré explains that, unlike many other fundraising platforms, GivenGain is global, allowing charities to raise money for any cause, anywhere in the world.

Maks’s project has closed, but his heart is wide open and we suspect this isn’t the last MOAS and other causes have seen of this little big man.

If Maks can do it, so can you! Start a GivenGain fundraising project today.
