Every successful person has a good morning routine argues Manchester-based direct sales and marketing specialists Future Generation Marketing. The firm has shared seven things to do before 8 a.m. to have a highly productive day.

About Future Generation Marketing: http://www.futuregenerationmarketing.co.uk/#about

Success is built on a foundation of positive habits; these habits are the fundamental platform for everyone to create a series of actions that will lead to consistently good results. Manchester based sales and marketing experts Future Generation Marketing reveal seven things that all successful people do before 8 am:

1. Drink lemon water. A sure-fire way to give energy levels a kick start, the nutrient packed fruit will boost potassium levels and get the body started for a busy day ahead. The natural booster should be drunk 15-30 minutes before food to ensure full absorption of nutrients is complete.

2. Exercise. Linked to both higher productivity and a more positive outlook, there is plenty of research supporting the benefits of participating in exercise, improving feelings of competence socially, academically, and athletically, this is all supposedly down to the natural feel good hormones, endorphins which are released post exercise.

3. Disconnect. Taking the time to connect with family and loved ones in the morning is enhanced by removing digital devices and avoiding contact with the working world. Kick starting the day calmly and positively can help maintain focus.

4. Eat a healthy breakfast. Stable blood sugar levels are imperative for focus and productivity. A healthy breakfast has been linked to improved brain function, focus and performance.

5. Set goals for the day. By setting goals and preparing well for the day ahead, increases the likelihood of a successful day. Good practice includes setting a to do list the night before.

6. Make certain your goals are realistic. Ensure goals are realistic and set heavy energy goals at the start of the day where brain function is at peak. A positive start will boost the afternoons' tone for winning.

7. Finally, say no. It is important to honour commitments by not over stretching resources such as time. Be confident in saying no to tasks that will place a strain on time, too much pressure can raise stress levels and have a negative impact on quality of work.

Inspired by an article by Forbes highlighting the most common workplace grievances, Future Generation Marketing has spoken out on how they are collaborating with their workforce to create a harmonious and engaging work environment.

About Future Generation Marketing: http://www.futuregenerationmarketing.co.uk/#about

Future Generation Marketing, a Newcastle-based sales and marketing firm has been looking into an article by Forbes, which revealed the most common reasons why professionals are unhappy at work. Part of the publication’s "Living and Working Better" series the article outlined that among others, the top grievances from today’s workers included; not being given the freedom to use the skills they need to succeed, a toxic work environment lacking encouragement, and the sense that they are meant for something better or more meaningful and exciting.

Future Generation Marketing was shocked by these common workplace issues, and how the overall sense from today’s professionals appears to be that their desires to progress and develop are not being facilitated. ‘Ambition and drive are key attributes that need to be celebrated by businesses, and the fact that workers are feeling that their organisations are not supporting them is not only outrageous but highlights that companies are in danger of demotivating their workforce and losing these attributes altogether’. Stated Future Generation Marketing.

In response to the article, Future Generation Marketing was inspired to speak up on how their company culture has been specifically built to tackle these everyday issues head on and encourage people to make the most of their ambition.

The firm regularly runs optional skills workshops for their community of young professionals, helping them to further their existing skills and tap into new talents. By organising workshops where everyone is encouraged to share and support each other’s development the firm has created an environment where people can feel comfortable and confident enough to progress at their own pace.

‘We believe it to be hugely important to give people control over their own development and chose the speed and direction of their professional futures. While we offer the tools and environment for success, the freedom is there for people to make their own success and run with their own ideas stated the firm.

Future Generation Marketing is committed to inspiring its workforce, and, as part of one of the world’s most exciting industries, regularly speaks out on how the potential for success is limitless. ‘We want people to know that in our industry, and the rate of growth it is achieving, they are part of something big, and if they are willing to put the work and effort in, they can reap exciting rewards.’ exclaimed Future Generation Marketing ‘Businesses need to communicate the bigger picture to their workforce and get them excited about the possibilities; this is the only way to motivate and create a culture of change’.

Future Generation Marketing specialises in creating fresh thinking strategies in sales and marketing. Their in-person campaigns drive brand awareness, ROI and customer acquisition for brands from a wide range of industries.

In light of new research into the reasons why people leave their jobs, Sales and marketing firm Future Generation Marketing has released a statement on how they are creating a better work environment for professionals and building greater loyalty.

A consistent workforce allows businesses to guarantee a service, and offer consistency to their clients. After studies have highlighted reasons for people choosing alternative employment Future Generation Marketing are urging businesses to act, or face losing their best workers to the competition.

About Future Generation Marketing: http://www.futuregenerationmarketing.co.uk/

With over 1000 UK workers being studied, it was found that two-thirds have quit a job in the past, men recorded a higher figure of 68%. The survey also considered the reasoning for leaving their roles. Top reasons included; 52.1% found a better opportunity. 13.9% cited a clash with management, 6.6% wanted a career break or to try travelling. 5.8% were unhappy with their working environment. And 4.4% left to study. One finding of the survey which was alarming was that 89.4% of working professionals were never shown the procedure for departing.

Future Generation Marketing is working hard to ensure the most important points are addressed in their office. Recruitment can be costly to business resources, from induction and training costs and time and ever increasing agency fees. It makes little sense for companies to overlook the maintenance of a positive working environment. Understanding the external commitments of its contractors, flexibility is offered, and personal development opportunities are plentiful with daily workshops centred around upskilling individuals and creating opportunities for additional responsibilities to be undertaken. The recently published GfK monthly consumer confidence index showed that tendency to make a big purchase dropped from 10 to 5. Manchester-based Future Generation Marketing has reacted to the claims that UK consumers are in a “gloomy mood”.

GfK, market research and user experience research experts, are the trusted source for relevant market and consumer information. GfK released their monthly consumer confidence index, and the report showed that consumer inclination to make a big purchase (major purchase index) has decreased by five points in March to 5; this is seven points lower than this time a year ago. (See image 1).

About Future Generation Marketing: http://www.futuregenerationmarketing.co.uk/

The measurement used for the index is based on consumer financial situation, general economic conditions and if it is a good time (or not) to purchase a large item, over a 12-month period.

Even with the poor results in the report, consumers believe the general economic situations over the last 12 months has improved, with many expecting this to continue. Some regard that if consumer confidence drops any lower, the result could be a slowdown in the overall economy of the UK this year.

Start-up firm, Future Generation Marketing operates in the outsourced sales and marketing industry. The company are specialists in face-to-face marketing, allowing them to build relationships with consumers, resulting in a positive buying experience for their client’s customers.

Future Generation Marketing report that direct marketing techniques are ideal for helping customers build their confidence in making big purchases. The firm outline that direct marketing educates the consumer about the product or service on offer because the customers speak directly to a sales representative who is on hand to answer any questions and overcome any problems the consumer may have with the purchase. If a consumer has confidence in the brand, built up by direct marketing techniques, then they are much more likely to make a big purchase.

Future Generation Marketing is based in Manchester, a thriving hub of business activity, and is confident that direct sales and marketing is vital for helping consumers in this area to increase confidence in purchase decisions. The firm works closely alongside their clients to drive long-lasting and personal business relationships between brand and consumer. In turn, this often leads to increased customer acquisition, brand awareness and brand loyalty for their clients.

Research conducted by the Book Trust UK revealed

6 months.

Here, the sales and marketing experts have
reviewed the top 3 books that every entrepreneur should read.

“Re-work.”

Written by entrepreneur and founder of Basecamp

entrepreneur or those looking for a change of career will need in their
business ventures. The book outlines and

“Inbound.”

Founders of Hubspot marketing software and
keynote talkers Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah are the authors of a book

and the world of blogs; the book focuses on how digital marketing tools can be
beneficial to a business', something that Future Generation Marketing claims is
essential today.

“Think and Grow Rich.”

A book read by both millionaires and
billionaires, written by Napoleon Hill, an American author considered to be one
of the best writers on the topic of success, discusses the secrets that could
bring you a fortune. Based on the stories of such people as Andrew Carnegie,
Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and other millionaires of his generation, the book
aims to promote personal development and self-improvement. Readers of the book

wisdom into your life.

Future Generation Marketing firmly believes that

<![CDATA[ Future Generation Marketing: Entrepreneurship is a Life Lesson ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/future-generation-marketing-entrepreneurship-is-a-life-lesson-08ef6ce2d7ac2351a9bb27ef2c75b464/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/future-generation-marketing-entrepreneurship-is-a-life-lesson-08ef6ce2d7ac2351a9bb27ef2c75b464/ Tuesday 31 May, 2016

Sales and marketing firm Future Generation Marketing have shared why they believe entrepreneurship can provide core life
lessons, and how it can support success in both a personal and professional
setting.

Future Generation Marketing, a Newcastle-based
sales and marketing firm have always believed that everyone has some degree of
entrepreneurial potential. Whilst common knowledge may lead people to think
about entrepreneurs as a breed apart, the reality is that everyone is born with
the ability to take risks, challenge the norm and be creative. The difference
lies in how people choose to use and develop these traits. The majority of people
leave these innate talents to lie dormant – which only goes to accentuate these
qualities in successful entrepreneurs, making them appear almost super human
and larger than life. Future Generation
Marketing believes that people could benefit greatly from tapping in to these
natural abilities and that these entrepreneurial traits could help energise and
focus people and help them progress in both their personal and professional
lives.

Future Generation Marketing are adamant that by
applying a little entrepreneurial thinking, people will be able to reignite
these natural born traits and use them to a significant advantage. Too many
people in the current climate complain about feeling stuck in a rut, and the firm
is confident that the only way to remedy this is to take on the lessons of
entrepreneurship in order to make positive, creative and sometimes even risky
changes.

About Future Generation Marketing: http://www.futuregenerationmarketing.co.uk/#about

To give people a boost and help them find
greater success both personally and professionally, Future Generation Marketing
have outlined some of the life lessons people can learn from embracing their
entrepreneurial potential.

Anything
is possible

It is a common misconception that learning gets
harder with age. The truth is learning doesn’t get harder, people just become
out of practice. Learning the skills and information needed to positively
progress through life can seem daunting which puts the majority off from even
trying. Entrepreneurs power through self-doubt by reflecting on how far they
have come already in their lives and using this as motivation to succeed. They
understand that anything is possible and that often the biggest barrier a
person faces when taking on a new challenge is their own negativity.

Be
confident enough to accept your faults

No one is perfect, and everyone has faults, no
matter how successful or unsuccessful they may be. Entrepreneurship teaches
people not to waste their time trying to hide their faults and that success
comes only when these faults are truly accepted. Acceptance means that steps can be taken to
remedy these faults and highlight strengths. Ultimately, entrepreneurship
teaches people that there is no greater sign of confidence than
self-acceptance.

Give
Respect

All humans want to be loved and respected; it is
part of our nature. Entrepreneurship teaches that by respecting everyone regardless
of status evens the playing field, builds integrity and helps to open new doors
and form new connections.

Based in Newcastle, Future Generation Marketing
is a young and ambitious sales and marketing firm. Working on engaging face-to-face
campaigns, the firm meets with their clients’ consumers directly, taking the
time to deliver a personalised service which raises brand loyalty and generates
a consistently high ROI.

Working predominantly with self-employed budding
entrepreneurs, Future Generation Marketing consider it to be their mission to
help these individuals embrace their entrepreneurial potential and utilise
their natural born skills in order to progress in all aspects of their lives.
Through mentoring, collaborative meetings and weekly targets the firm helps lay
the foundations and offer developmental support for future success.

As well as the unlimited networking potential, Future Generation Marketing were excited for the VIP speeches that took place over the course of the event. Held at London’s luxury Grosvenor House Hotel situated on the iconic Park Lane, this year’s event was not only a formal black tie affair, it was also invitation only, allowing for only the industry’s top performers and respected business owners to attend. The event was opened with a champagne reception taking place in the Ballroom Foyer where guests were able to integrate and form new professional relationships. This was followed by speeches from industry experts from the UK, America, Australia and Europe before the main event where the winners of this year’s awards were announced. Future Generation Marketing was delighted to be invited to this year’s event, especially with this year’s celebrations differing so greatly to previous years. The firm felt that this year’s refined, invitation only affair reflected the levels of success the industry as a whole has experienced over the past 12 months, and offered guests the ideal escape, during which they could refocus, increase their knowledge and return to their businesses rejuvenated and full of motivation.

With the way people view TV changing dramatically in the last few years, traditional TV advertisements are no longer having the huge impact they once did. Future Generation Marketing were not surprised by a recent Meetrics report that suggests brands could have wasted £485m on adverts that weren't seen.

About Future Generation Marketing: http://www.futuregenerationmarketing.co.uk/

According to a new report from Meetrics, UK businesses may have wasted £485m in the second quarter of 2015 on adverts that were not viewed by consumers. Future Generation Marketing say they are not surprised. With an overload of TV and online advertisements, consumers may feel overwhelmed and the adverts do not have the same impact nowadays than compared to a decade ago. The view-ability figure is 49 per cent in the UK, well below the view-ability in other European countries such as Germany with 64 per cent and France with 62 per cent. Unilever's marketing director Keith Weed recently stated that anything less than 100 per cent is simply not good enough. Future Generation Marketing insist that direct marketing remains one of the most effective marketing tools.

Future Generation Marketing are an outsourced sales and marketing company based in Reading. The firm has become one of the market leaders in their industry. Future Generation Marketing promote and sell products and services on their clients' behalf on a face-to-face basis. The firm's sales force meets with consumers in person. "It is really important to us and our clients to build long-lasting relationships with people. We want to show them how much we care and that they are not just a number but a valued customer," says Future Generation Marketing. Their strategy clearly distinguishes them from competitors and has led to increasing their clients' customer loyalty by over 35 per cent in the first half of 2015.

Future Generation Marketing meet with over 1,000 people every single day to promote their clients' products and services. They operate with a 'no win - no fee' policy with little risk for their clients who only pay for actual results. "Direct marketing is a very cost-effective marketing tool that focuses on building strong relationships between consumers and our clients," says Future Generation Marketing.

More and more companies have recognised the value of meeting with their target audience face-to-face and allocated their marketing budget increasingly to direct marketing campaigns, reconsidering their spending on TV and online advertisement.

As businesses grow it can be easy to lose sight of the core customer service foundations that led to their success. Future Generation Marketing have outlined the difference between quality customer service and lip service, and shared how businesses can deliver on their promises.

About Future Generation Marketing: http://www.futuregenerationmarketing.co.uk/

Before the days of digital the only way for businesses to build a loyal customer base was through providing quality customer service. However digital technologies have given businesses a means to not only reach a wider audience, but provide customer service with very little human interaction. This has allowed the majority of businesses to grow at a much faster rate, yet the lack of personalised customer service has meant that customer retention rates are struggling across the board. With a greater number of customers, businesses have a greater responsibility to ensure each customer receives a quality, personalised service. However, the majority are failing to deliver and are instead relying on outdated and insincere clichés learnt on customer service training programmes.

Future Generation Marketing believe that no matter their size, all businesses must make customer service the central component of their business strategies. To avoid paying lip service to their customers, the firm have outlined the following common issues that customers encounter on their quest for real, personalised service:

Recording Maze

These days calling a customer help line fills the majority of customers with dread, not only due to the hours of on hold music they have to endure, but also because of the endless recorded messages they have to navigate through to actually access the help they need. Option menus may seem like a convenient solution for businesses, but for customers they can be frustrating, especially if there is no option for their particular issue, or if they press the wrong number and get rerouted back to where they started.

Clichés

Apologising for the inconvenience doesn't actually provide any solutions to customers and can often just cause further frustration. Clichés do nothing but highlight a representative's lack of knowledge and experience.

Interference

This is almost like a screening process, where a representative will assess the seriousness of a customer's issue to see whether it is serious enough to bother a manager with. Often the representative will ask customers to perform simple diagnostics which in the majority of cases they have already done before calling, before being passed on to someone 'higher up' who will no doubt go through the same spiel again.

Future Generation Marketing believe that these issues are standing in the way of customer loyalty and are urging businesses to review their practices in order to provide a more personalised and effective customer experience. Businesses must understand the life time value of each customer, and recognise that retaining existing customers is far more profitable and beneficial than attracting new ones. The firm believe that by failing to provide quality service businesses are running the risk of losing trust on the marketplace, which once lost is difficult to get back.

As a leading sales and event marketing firm, Future Generation Marketing has seen first-hand how personalised customer service can help a business thrive. Through face to face customer interactions the firm help their clients to build unique connections with each customer and deliver a service which meets their individual needs. With many businesses worried that providing quality customer service is too expensive the firm are keen to highlight they offer a pay on results service, and that outsourcing customer service to experts in the field could dramatically increase a company's ROI and market reputation.

Sales and marketing firm, Future Generation Marketing hosted a workshop on the value of having good habits and how to focus on goals through visualisation.

About Future Generation Marketing: http://www.futuregenerationmarketing.co.uk

Future Generation Marketing spends time motivating and offering free workshops every morning to those participating in their Business Development program. The firm believes short workshops encourage each individual to embrace their personal goals and aim to be more productive with their time. Adam Smith, Managing Director at Future Generation Marketing believes that this helps individuals and the business as a whole to meet their goals.

Earlier this week, the firm hosted a workshop dedicated to the importance of having great habits in a business environment. The firm discussed how, with modern day technology, there are more distractions than ever that need to be combatted. For example, social media has become a huge temptation and is often the result of hours of procrastination throughout the day. On top of this, checking emails constantly can cause people to become distracted in the middle of one job to take on another – meaning that nothing is ever fully completed. Future Generation Marketing believes that good habits such as having a set time to check emails, turning off smart phones, or social media apps, prioritising important jobs and even something as simple as making sure you are always on time can be the difference between failing and succeeding.

During the same workshop Future Generation Marketing's MD, Mr Smith also spoke about how to 'get in the zone' through visualisation. The firm believes that visualising the situation, the outcome and what could happen if they achieve their goals will motivate individuals to work hard in order to achieve that outcome. The firm say that it is important to be 'in the zone' and in the right frame of mind, especially in an industry as tough as sales, in order to make valuable connections and pursue goals. Future Generation Marketing have also discussed the importance of 'strength finding' and being able to find that inner motivation to meet their goals even when having bad days. The firm believes that to be successful, it requires positivity and a constant positive attitude even when things aren't going quite to plan.

Business professionals need to be mindful of their environment when revealing information about themselves as crossing the line and revealing certain information could have a negative impact on their career prospects. Outsourced sales and marketing specialists, Future Generation Marketing outline topics of conversation that should be avoided if someone wants to be successful.

About Future Generation Marketing: http://www.futuregenerationmarketing.co.uk/#about

1. That they hate their job

The last thing someone should reveal is that they hate their job. Making that comment will label them as a negative person and not a team player. Complaining brings down the morale of the group and bosses are quick to catch on to those individuals that are guilty of dragging down morale, and will replace them.

2. That they think someone is incompetent

Every team will have weak members, and people tend to know who they are. Announcing a colleague's incompetence makes the commenter look bad, it can seem like a callous move and will inevitably come back to haunt them in future.

3. Salary

In the workplace, revealing pay scales can have an extremely negative affect. It gives co-workers a direct measure of comparison. When salary is revealed, the person then comes under scrutiny from co-workers.

4. Political and religious beliefs

Political and religious beliefs shouldn't be aired in a work environment. It can lead to conflict. Disagreeing with someone else's views can quickly alter their perception of you. It can alienate some people. Political opinions and religious beliefs are very deeply ingrained in people, and challenging their views is more likely to end in altercation.

5. Facebook

Although privacy settings and censoring can be done, the safest way to avoid any problems is not to add colleagues. LinkedIn should be someone's professional "social" network; Facebook should be saved for everybody else.

6. That they're after somebody else's job

Announcing ambitions at work can be risky. It can come across as selfish and indifferent. Great employees are team players, and they want the whole team to succeed, not just themselves. Regardless of someone's actual motives, announcing a selfish goal will not help them get there.

7. An offensive joke

People need to be careful about what they say and who they say it to. Sense of humour can vary greatly and offensive jokes can make other people feel terrible, and make the teller look bad. They also tend to be much less funny than clever jokes.

8.That they are job hunting

When someone reveals they are job hunting they suddenly become a waste of everyone's time, as in some peoples view they are already out the door. It can also become awkward if the job hunt is unsuccessful. It's best to wait until after securing a new job before announcing it.

In order to grow a business in 2015, sales and marketing firm Future Generations Marketing believe that sales processes must be reviewed and adapted to fit in with current consumer trends and behaviours. To help boost SME sales, the firm have shared their top sales tips.

Future Generations Marketing are firm believers that there has never been a better time to be a small business owner, and that the current economic climate holds much potential for growth. The recent increase in UK employment has led to more disposable income across the UK and has helped consumer confidence rise for the first time in years. Consumers are now not only shopping around for the best deal, they are also now looking for businesses and brands who can offer them the best service and to whom they can become loyal. With this in mind Future Generations Marketing are confident that the coming months could pose a wealth of opportunities to UK businesses if they are willing to review and improve existing sales strategies.

Good sales strategy is about a business taking control of their communications and understanding the needs of their consumers on a deeper, more meaningful level. With the growth of a business riding on these crucial communications, Future Generations Marketing have shared how they boost sales for their clients in order to help them expand successfully.

Give them a Reason

In sales, a no isn't always a no, it often means that the customer has so far failed to see a reason as to why they should part with their money. Businesses should enquire as to why a customer has chosen to decline the deal and use this information to improve their sales approach in the future.

Interest and Passion

Passion and energy is highly infectious. A customer is likely to feed off of a sales person's energy which will drive greater sales. Passion and interest also helps a customer to feel confident in their purchase decision and understand a brand's values and identity.

Listen

A customer should always control the direction of a sales pitch, as it is only through this communication that a sales person can accurately gauge their needs and take steps to deliver an effective solution.

Separate Benefits

People don't buy features, they buy benefits. It may be tempting for a sales person to preach about a products state of the art features, however unless a customer knows how these features could be set to benefit them as an individual they are unlikely to invest.

Smile

A sincere smile is key to sales, even over the phone a customer can tell whether a person is smiling and happy to speak with them or not.
